Alpha Phi Omega Australia Inc (APO Australia Inc) through the leadership of President Shane Almonte in partnership with the affiliates of the Philippine Community Council of New South Wales (PCC-NSW ) is calling for volunteers to plant trees.

According to Project Officer and VP for External Affairs of APO Australia Ronaldo Villaver, this year's "National Tree Day" is being celebrated on 29 July 2007, Sunday at Mittigar Reserve, Luxford Rd, Oakhurst, NSW 2761. Planting time commence at 9:00 AM. and finish on 1:00P.M. Volunteers should bring gloves, a hat and wear sunscreen.

"Planting trees not only beautifies our area but it also helps the environment and is a great day out for our community" says President Ruben Amores of PCC-NSW.
