Members of Alpha Phi Omega Australia under the leadership of President Shane Almonte open the month of April with its active involvement during the Community Reception and Induction of PCC-NSW 2007 Officers at Blacktown City Council Chamber Hall.

APO Australia Vice President for External Affairs Ronaldo Villaver, a director of PCC-NSW together with the other officers headed by Pres. Ruben Amores was inducted into office by Consul General Maria Theresa Lazaro of the Philippine Consulate in Sydney in a ceremony hosted by the City Council of Blacktown.

In attendance during the event was the Lord Mayor of Blacktown and its Councillors. FILCCA President Malyn Chun together with other community leaders and members were present during the community reception and induction ceremony.

In the same occasion, APO Australia Inc was able to have a brief chat with ConGen Lazaro (holding a brown bag) and brief her on some significant projects APO Australia are undertaking currently like the APOAus-GK Village Project, among others. A collaborative project is planned to be implemented together with the consular office.
