The Provision of Support Assistance Program to scouting activities
in Australia and Philippines was one of the approved
development projects of APO Australia Inc for DY 2006-2008.
Scout Summer Development and
Cultural Heritage Camp of the Boys Scout of the Philippines is one of the specific scouting
activities where support of APO Australia Inc and from other APO Chapters is
solicited.
In particular, Rover Circle No. 38
(APO Epsilon Omega Alumni Assocation & Epsilon Omega Chapter, Leyte
Colleges, Tacloban City), in coordination with the Boy Scouts of the
Philippines, Leyte Council will spearhead the conduct of SCOUT SUMMER
DEVELOPMENT & CULTURAL HERITAGE CAMP on 16-20 April 2007 at Busay Falls,
Babatngon, Leyte, Philippines.
Fifty (50) to One hundred (100)
Boy Scouts, Senior Scouts and Rover/Roverette Scouts (including APO
Rover/Roverettes) from all over the Province of Leyte are expected to participate in
this 5-day Scout summer camp.
In its 3rd Feb 07 meeting of the
Executive Council of APO Australia Inc, an initial financial contribution from
the meeting attendees were received. Appeal for additional financial support
from the members of APO Australia Inc is solicited. Any amount will be highly
appreciated. The desired amount to be raised is 8,500.00
